Your adventure begins! After a welcome and orientation briefing from your Instructors, it's time to get to know your new camp mates. Through a series of fun and engaging activities, you'll quickly become a cohesive unit ready to tackle the challenges ahead together!
Day 2: Water sourcing & Fire making
You're lost in the wilderness and it won't be long before the sun goes down, what do you do? Today's activities are centred around those all important first stages of survival - water and warmth. Learn from your Instructors how to use the natural resources around you to safely purify water and build fires to protect you from the elements!
Day 3: Shelter building & Environmental protectionYou've made it through your first night and now you need to make yourself more comfortable. It's time to get creative with a morning of shelter building. What will you build? The afternoon will be dedicated to environmental protection, how can we preserve the environment and protect it from harm?
Day 4: Local walk & Survival Challenge
You've spent the past two days developing and fine tuning your survival skills, and now it's time to put what you have learnt into practice! Under the supervision of your Instructors, you will build your own wild camp and sleep out under the stars for a true taste of wild-camping and your very own personal home-away from home!
Day 5: Leave no trace
Waking up in your wild camp with a deserved sense of accomplishment, your final mission is to put into practice what you have learned over the past few days about environmental protection. By leaving no trace behind at the camp site, you will be helping to ensure our wild spaces remain unspoilt for generations to come, thank you!
