We had our first meal out at MJ’s where we got to sample traditional Bahamian dishes. Generally it went down well.
The weather turned towards the end of the week with strong winds making diving impossible, however we got on with all sorts of other entertainment and learning, playing cards, monopoly and of course learning about the reefs and benthic.
We experienced our first game of water rugby final score 4 – 2.

On the Thursday we had our first trip to the local primary school, where we will be teaching each Thursday for the rest of phase, everyone got along very well. the weather picked up enough for a quick dive on Saturday morning and a bit of snorkelling in the afternoon, where a nurse shark was spotted and many of beautiful fish.
