On Monday, morning we took a trip to north Andros with Forfar to snorkel at a shallow wreck site. There were two large boats to explore and a very large porcupine puffer fish was spotted as well as a pilot fish we then stopped at a blue hole called Uncle Charlie’s which had a rope swing. During the week we had several lectures covering fish ID. When the weather was good and tanks were available we went on a couple of dives including one to a site called Adams hole where a large grey angelfish was spotted along with a Golden Crinoid and a small jellyfish. At a site called amphitheatre a great hammerhead was also seen.
We rounded off the week with a shark lecture and test as well as tests on benthic ID. and inverts which everybody did well on.
