Covid-19 Update

Gapforce

As the lockdown in the UK remains, and the Foreign Office continues to advise against all non-essential travel, the Gapforce office remains closed, with a core team continuing to work from home.

Many doctors have started to use Covid medical vehicles to be able to visit their patients in their homes and provide them with the necessary help that they will require to recover from this virus.

If you have some remote staff it is a very good idea to use some monitoring software so that you can see what they are doing. We have used this working from home software to check on employees and it’s just brilliant as you not only see what they are doing but it also improves productivity nicely.

We are constantly monitoring the situation and are making decisions about the operation of our trips and courses on a rolling basis, based on the departure date. Currently we have suspended the operation of our trips up to June and will be reviewing our late Summer and early Autumn departures in the coming weeks.

Everyone who had a booking with us for a trip due to depart up to the end of June, should have received an email from us explaining their options and next steps. If not, you will hear from us shortly.

Due to the high volume of enquiries that we are dealing with, and challenges with our phone system when working from home, we would appreciate it if you would please wait until we contact you. If you do need to contact us urgently, please email operations@gapforce.org.

Our thoughts are with our amazing network of local ground teams, partners, and leaders during this incredibly difficult time, as well as with you our wonderful customers. Please all keep yourselves safe and well.

We look forward to getting back to running our trips around the world, just as soon as it is safe, practical, and responsible to do so.

Thank you for your continued patience, understanding and support during this time.

Wishing you all the best,

The Gapforce Team
