    Weekends: At your leisure

No activities are scheduled at the weekend, so you are free to choose how you spend this time.  You may wish to stay in Hua Hin, which has a lot to offer besides just sunbathing, snorkelling and swimming at its golden beaches. Not only are there plenty of seafood restaurants and other eateries to choose from, but visitors can also enjoy  spas, shops, markets (including a popular night market), and Hua Hin’s Vana Nava water park.  You may also choose to ascend Khao Takiab for breathtaking views from its temple.  For those that wish to venture further afield, adventure enthusiasts can journey to Pa La-U Waterfall in the lush Kaeng Krachan National Park or venture south to Phraya Nakhon cave's mystical depths.

Week 2: Build your own Experience

Here’s the fun part! You have the option to select a project that best suits you!

Select from three distinctive programs to further deepen your connection and insight into the environment, people, and ancient practices of this captivating country:

    English Language Teaching:

Give back to the local Thai community and spend time with local students as you teach English in schools in and around Hua Hin.  You will help students to broaden their minds and have a cultural exchange as you teach English and assist local staff with your creative ideas, songs, games, and other fun activities.

During the program you can expect to teach for 2-3 hours per day in addition to time spent working alongside other teachers and participants in the class to help create lesson plans and organize activities in the classroom.  Gain teaching experience and learn an invaluable life skill! No previous teaching experience is required, you just need a genuine interest and enthusiasm to teach students.

    Environmental Conservation:

Experience environmental conservation firsthand by joining local community efforts. You will take part in many discussions regarding the awareness of Thailand’s deep environmental issues and, across 4-5 hours each day, contribute to day to day activities at a national park, a mangrove conservation centre, tree plantation activities, community clean ups and more.

Additionally, you will take the opportunity to raise awareness and educate students at a nearby school about environmental conservation. Your involvement not only aids in preserving the environment but also plays a crucial role in preparing the upcoming generation to be stewards of the planet.

    Muay Thai Boxing:

Learn the art of Muay Thai in the country where it originated. Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is the national sport in Thailand. It is dubbed the “art of the eight limbs,” as it teaches you to combat your opponent using eight different points of contact on the body.

This program provides you with the perfect base to either learn the art of Muay Thai, or (if you already know the basics), to advance your skills. You will be guided by experienced Muay Thai teachers, coaches, and champions. You will be getting training for a minimum of 3 hours a day. Your training schedule will be customized according to your experience, learning pace, and fitness level.

*Whichever project you choose, your trip will end after breakfast on Saturday!
