If you want your travel experience to be the most unique, off-the-beaten path adventure, then Borneo is the perfect location. Our programs in Borneo offer you an excellent opportunity to visit a giant, tropical island shared by the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, Indonesian Kalimantan and the tiny nation of Brunei. It's hard to picture what a gap year in Borneo really looks like , but think orangutans, clouded leopards and much more.
In 2016 we completed our work with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. Over three years, our teams had successfully completed a range of infrastructure projects including hides and bridges to aid the local staff in their monitoring of newly released orangutans into the forests of central Borneo. We are very proud of the accomplishments made by our teams in Borneo and we continue to work closely with our partners and friends on this most isolated and stunning island.
