ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Support local students and bring learning to life through creativity and connection

Location: Hua Hin

Give back to the local Thai community and spend time with local students as you teach English in schools in and around Hua Hin.  You will help students to broaden their minds and have a cultural exchange as you teach English and assist local staff with your creative ideas, songs, games, and other fun activities.

During the program you can expect to teach for 2-3 hours per day in addition to time spent working alongside other teachers and participants in the class to help create lesson plans and organize activities in the classroom.  Gain teaching experience and learn an invaluable life skill! No previous teaching experience is required, you just need a genuine interest and enthusiasm to teach students.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Get hands-on protecting ecosystems and supporting local conservation efforts

Experience environmental conservation firsthand by joining local community efforts. You will take part in many discussions regarding the awareness of Thailand’s deep environmental issues and, across 4-5 hours each day, contribute to day to day activities at a national park, a mangrove conservation centre, tree plantation activities, community clean ups and more.

Additionally, you will take the opportunity to raise awareness and educate students at a nearby school about environmental conservation. Your involvement not only aids in preserving the environment but also plays a crucial role in preparing the upcoming generation to be stewards of the planet.

MUAY THAI BOXING TRAINING

Train in Thailand’s national sport and push your limits with expert coaches

Learn the art of Muay Thai in the country where it originated. Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is the national sport in Thailand. It is dubbed the “art of the eight limbs,” as it teaches you to combat your opponent using eight different points of contact on the body.

This program provides you with the perfect base to either learn the art of Muay Thai, or (if you already know the basics), to advance your skills. You will be guided by experienced Muay Thai teachers, coaches, and champions. You will be getting training for a minimum of 3 hours a day. Your training schedule will be customized according to your experience, learning pace, and fitness level.

Hear the amazing experiences our travellers have had over the years.

Doing the South America Explorer trip was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life! I got to experience so many amazing things — spending time in a foreign country, volunteering with animals (a long-time dream), and trekking through the jungle with incredible landscapes.

My favourite moments were white water rafting, exploring Cusco, Spanish school, and playing fútbol locally. Gaz was an amazing leader who made everything fun and adventurous, and I felt so lucky to have such a great group to travel with.

Even the more challenging parts pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to experience it all. I’d recommend this trip to anyone in a heartbeat.
