SCHOOL TRIP REVIEWS
Gapforce runs School Trips for schools based around the world.
Wherever in the world the school is based, they all want a high quality, tailored made school trip that utilises international safety standards with approachable leaders.
The first time I organised a trip through Gapforce I was struck by just how easy the whole process was and how accommodating they were.
Having moved to a different school I suggested that we use them to organise an expedition to northern India, teaching English to Tibetan refugees. Our agent was hugely helpful, efficient and hard working and, to top it off, a thoroughly nice guy. I couldn't recommend Gapforce highly enough and look forward to working with them again in the future.
What an outstanding ten days we had in Tanzania. From the moment we arrived in Arusha to the moment we left everything was exceptionally well planned and executed. The organisation put into place by Gapforce was exemplary; every activity was well thought out.
Having two Gapforce staff members on the ground in Tanzania was superb because they were familiar with local customs and the language. Furthermore, they were more than willing to change arrangements at the last minute and accommodate our requests. The staff in the London office were a dream to deal with – always approachable, easy to communicate with and highly accommodating.
The activities organised for us were of a wide range and suited the needs and requests of everyone. From walking transects, to the Maasai cultural experience, visiting the orphanage and the three days of safaris, everything was meticulously planned. I would certainly recommend Gapforce to anyone planning to visit beautiful Tanzania
The expedition was excellent. Ben was a great leader, full of enthusiasm, and the project in Ba Kelalan was exactly what we were looking for: both remote and meaningful
Morocco was fantastic. Thanks so much for all the help and support given by Gapforce in the lead up to the trip, as well as the leadership given by Madoc and the support of Vicky when we were out there. The students had an amazing time and are buzzing about it still.
Huge thanks to you and Dan for organise the Greece trip. The students loved it and had a good time with Archelon and the diving/excursions. The hotels were great!
Dan was very organised and effective. The turtles were interesting and the sites were interesting for the excursion people and the divers loved the diving centre (the highlight for me!!)
Barney, you have a very good way with high school students. They like your cheerful, friendly attitude. You were able to motivate them to get things done, but you were also able to discipline them when they needed it, and in a way, that did not demoralise them. You did a good job directing a large group re: the service project. Keeping 17 students engaged over the course of several days was quite a feat.
The project was of an appropriate size for our group, and there were enough tools/supplies to keep almost everyone busy all of the time. I really appreciated how you also took charge of engaging the students at night with your "organized fun". The kids are not used to such non-electronic activities, but you sold the games and made them into something that the students requested more of.
Thanks for the email and for all support from Gap Force. Xav was a great tour leader during our time in Geneva. He knew his way around, was accommodating and had a "let's do it" attitude which were excellent.
He called us "the perfect group" and I can say that he was "the perfect leader."
Gapforce were really supportive right from the start, helping with organisation and coming in to speak to parents. The trip was amazing and the pupils loved learning all about the wildlife, vegetation and history of the Galapagos Islands.
Our Gapforce leader was really bubbly and our in-country expert was fun and knowledgeable. The programme our trip coordinator devised was busy and covered all our objectives, and they were always available if we had any questions in the run-up to the trip. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip that was enjoyed by all and was extremely well organised – thanks Gapforce!
The Belize expedition was exciting, unique, awesome and life changing!
It can be seen that this trip has held firsts for everyone, as it has enabled us to achieve things we thought we never would. Though each individual’s achievements have been appreciated and recognised, our achievements as a group have truly made this trip special, with new friendships made, trust built and memories to last a lifetime.
Our expedition to Costa Rica with Gapforce was truly incredible. The organisation of the trip was impeccable and the professionalism of our guides, Colin and Matt, meant that we all felt safe and happy every second of the fortnight.
The itinerary was drawn up with what was clearly an in-depth knowledge of the country and all the wonderful things it had to offer. A once in a lifetime trip, made all the better by GapFORCE
They had such a monumentally wonderful time in New York and we can’t thank you enough for your hard work and enthusiasm.
We're writing on behalf of the girls who attended the New York trip from Roedean School in December. We wanted to say a huge thank you for showing us around and looking after our group whilst we were in state. We all had a wonderful time thanks to Gapforce, and it was lovely to receive such a warm welcome from yourself. Our trips to the Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, Rockerfeller Centre and, of course, all the shopping were great times had by all and we’re sure everyone made memories we will all keep for a very long time. Visiting the 9/11 Memorial was eye-opening, yet highly informative. Our trip to New York was made by your sunny demeanour and we are nothing but thankful. Thanks again, Best wishes
