Do I need any previous experience or qualifications?

Full training will be provided as part of your gap year course, although any previous outdoor training will be beneficial. You do not need any specific qualifications prior to starting as, depending on your chosen course, you will receive accredited training in diving, bushcraft, marine or jungle conservation, expedition leadership and first aid. You will also gain invaluable leadership skills which will equip you for success in your chosen career.

What careers can I go into after completing an outdoor training course?

The ideal step into the outdoor industry, spending your gap year on an adventure training course will equip you with the vital skills you need to succeed. Previous Gapforce gap year course graduates have gone on to work for aid agencies in conflict zones, led charity groups overseas and worked as outdoor instructors in schools and on TV shows.
