From your very first enquiry, a dedicated Gapforce Trip Manager works closely with you to design and customise the itinerary. They provide ongoing support, regular updates, and clear guidance to ensure every detail is in place for a smooth and successful trip.

Each trip is accompanied by a qualified Gapforce Leader, responsible for student safety, wellbeing, and smooth management of the itinerary. Leaders hold relevant qualifications, are experienced with young people, first-aid trained, and have undergone an enhanced DBS check.

At key stages of your trip, you’ll be supported by trusted local partners — including project coordinators, drivers, and guides. School staff accompany the group in loco parentis, providing pastoral care and ensuring the wellbeing of participants, particularly those under 18. They work alongside the Gapforce Leader to support students’ personal and social development throughout the journey.
